Bertie's guard dog
This photograph was taken in Claregalway during the Irish general election in 2007. A canvasser had thought better of entering this house when they saw the sign, and instead they simply shoved their literature behind the sign. The politician being "guarded" is the then Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern.
