Shaw poem, Coole Park
This photograph shows the five plaques in Coole Park on which George Bernard Shaw's poem he wrote for Lady Gregory's granddaughter is reproduced. Shaw wrote the poem in 1921 and sent it in his own handwriting. It's reproduced on these plaques exactly as he wrote it.
