Catholic church, Aughrim
This is a photograph of the Catholic church in Aughrim. The Irish army were poised for victory at the Battle of Aughrim, under the command of St. Ruth. His battle plan was working even though he hadn't disclosed it to anyone else. His second in command was Sarsfield, who he posted well away from the main battle with orders that he wasn't to leave his position without written orders.
