Arch in Athenry
This photograph shows an arch in the town which is one of it's most distinctive landmarks. Athenry is east of Galway city. The railway line between Galway and Dublin goes through athenry but the main road doesn't. You can travel through the town as an alternative route but it's seldom that anyone does.
