Annaghkeen Castle
This is a photograph of the ruins of Annaghkeen Castle. Annaghkeen Castle was built in the 12th century by the DeBurgo family. It's thought to be the oldest example in Ireland of a castle built entirely from undressed stone. It lies on the lake shore west of Headford.
