View across the bay from Carraroe
This photograph was taken from Carraroe and shows the view across a bay from the village. Carraroe is probably the main centre where Galway Hookers survive today. Traditionally the main working boat along the Connemara and south Galway coast, the Galway Hooker is mostly used for racing now.
