St. Nicholas Collegiate Church
This is a photograph of St. Nicholas Collegiate Church, Galway City's Church of Ireland Church. It was built in 1320 by a member of the Lynch family, one of the Tribes of Galway, and rebuilt and extended since. In Galway it's believed that Christopher Columbus prayed here before setting out on his voyage of discovery to America in 1492.
