Galway Rovers Clubhouse
This is a photograph of Galway Rovers clubhouse in the Claddagh. The first Galway City club to play League of Ireland football was Galway Rovers, who entered the league in 1977. Like the present Galway United, Rovers played in Terryland Park, but this was their clubhouse. The club has changed name and ownership and the present Galway United have no connection with this premises.
