Galway Cathedral

Cathedral in Galway

This is a photograph of Galway Cathedral which was built between 1958 and 1965. It was built on the site of the Galway city gaol which was no longer in use. It's situated right beside the River Corrib, which is in the foreground of this photo. It's on the west side of the river, across the Salmon Weir Bridge, one of Galway's four bridges.
