Finish of the first in-port race on Galway Bay
This is a photograph of the finish of the first of two in-port races on Galway Bay during the Volvo Ocean Race. The races were supposed to take place much closer to Salthill beach that they did, but on the day there was very little wind so the race was staged closer to Barna than Salthill.
